Ouch, my head

If you have a bad headache, maybe someone shot you and you didn't notice (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6246800.stm).

Mr Moylan arrived at a Florida hospital on Wednesday, saying he was woken up with a headache so severe he thought he had suffered an aneurysm.

He also reportedly told doctors he thought his wife had elbowed him in the head during the night.

A local newspaper, The Fort Pierce Tribune, quoted the sheriff as saying: "The nurse looked at him and said: 'It appears that you've been shot.' And he said: 'No way.'"

Over-the-top wakeup call much?

I was assuming it was and somehow didn't work. Because I don't want to believe that someone would load a gun, arm it and then sleep on it with their husband.

Or possibly his wife just shot him in the head.

Oh dear... can you believe I just felt whether someone shot me since that might explain the headache :(

I'd have thought the "bang!" would be kind of hard to miss.

Tho, I hit myself in the leg with an axe once, and didn't notice until my boot filled up with blood. And I'm pretty sure I was bitten by a snake but didn't notice it at the time. Both of those were while I was awake and sober, so I guess being shot could go unnoticed if you were crashed from a drug binge ...

I wouldn't be surprised if those were warning labels on tanks.

But for instance the primary cannon on an Abrams tank has a warning somewhere on it that says "Warning: May Cause Injury or Death" written in both english and spanish

Really.. I would have never thought that if you jumped out of an airplane you would suddenly drop.
