As one of the few professional archaeologists on NS, let me disabuse you (slightly) of that notion.

1) Attempting to apply modern racial characteristics to what you term 'pre-Hellenic Egypt' is at best pointless.

2) The arrival of Alexander the Great and the Ptolemies does virtually nothing to replace the existing population of Egypt. The Hellenistic rulers remain an elite ruling class with the mass of the population remaining Egyptian-speaking ethnic Egyptians. If any event can be argued for disturbing the racial balance of Egypt it would be the Byzantine-era plagues immediately preceding the Arab conquest.

3) That said, there were very probably pharaohs and Egyptians who would be considered 'black' under modern categorisations. For example, the 25th dynasty in the 3rd intermediate period originated in Nubia. But to extrapolate from this that all Egyptians were black in the long, long pre-Hellenistic period is more than pushing it.

But really, much of this is made moot from the simple fact that the Egyptians themselves didn't use modern racial characteristics, didn't really care (except in so far as they saw themselves as distinct from everyone else), and were most probably a multi-ethnic society that placed no particular emphasis on what we consider 'race'.

Here's the least arbitrary cutoff we can devise: Only humans can use technology to create a self-improving feedback loop. Other species can use and make tools, but almost none of them have made any appreciable improvement in the tools they use and of those that have none of them have made any improvement in so short a time as humans.

Our rate of technological evolution is blistering fast compared to biological evolution and far outstrips anything else on the planet. That's what makes us unique, if anything.

I don't really count stripping leaves off a stick as making something. To make something you really need to create something new, not just adjust what is already there.

However, as far as adjusting objects goes, you would also have to include Racoons (which have been known to use sticks to raise latches) and some Raptors (which have been observed using sticks as levers(!) to move objects in the way when setting up nests (no, I don't count nests. Nestbuilding is instinctual).

The person writing that website calls upon all sorts of studies and statistics, most of them conducted at a time when Black people living in America were given educations of a far worse quality than White people, simply because they were Black. It is therefore not a fair test - both the quality of education and the race of the person being tested is changed, so the conclusions he alludes to (that White people are smarter than Black people) cannot be proven.

Also, he draws on all sorts of information about the human brain, none of which proves anything except that Black and White people are put together differently. Race is not a biological grouping. It was never a biological grouping! Skin color is just a stimulus/adaptation to certain environmental conditions! Caucasians developed melanin poor skin as adaptation to the temperate higher latitudes of Europe.
