My kids took me to see Celtic Woman at Red Rock Amphitheater Friday night.

Celtic Woman is an awesome show and the Red Rock Amphitheater is about the best concert venue ever. Anyway, the evening couldn't have been more perfect 70^ with a light breeze, full moon, the lights of Denver in the distance.

This is about the best concert experience I've had.

I wouldn't mind going to the Kimmel Center.

I've never been to a concert, so I cannot have a best experience.

I can and will pass on the massage I'm sure my parents would give you: "Damn you for being able to go to a Celtic Woman concert!"

Red Rocks sounds (and looks) really cool, but it's always the sort of fu-fu New Age stuff that plays there. Sort of a shame. :(

As for concerts, I always ended up chipping in for tickets for a group of us to see one of those 40-band megaconcerts, which were usually really fun as a spectacle, but less interesting music-wise than a small venue. But it's a carnival atmosphere at those, and I like it. :p
