Out of all the Democratic & Republican candidates for the office of President of the United States, who looks best? I mean the best: Who dresses the best, has the award-winning smile, good hair, is in good shape for someone their age, everything. Who simply looks the best?

And on the other side of this, who looks the worse?

Edwards probably ooks best (and is getting criticism for it, they say he spends too much on his appearance), Hillary looks worst. That woman looks like crap, followed closely by Fred (Night of the Living Dead) Thompson.

obama and edwards are the best looking.

fred thompson and giuliani (when he has that severe combover going) are the worst.

kucinich looks like a troll.

mitt romney gives me the creeps because he SHOULD be devastatingly handsome but when he talks he seems like a living puppet.

chris dodd is the most distinguished looking.

what kind of name is "barack" ?

"In fact, "Barack" comes from the Swahili derivative of the Arabic word meaning "blessing." According to Yale University's "Kamusi Project" -- the "Internet Living Swahili Dictionary" -- the Swahili word "baraka," meaning "blessing," is derived from the Arabic word "bariki." According to a January 12, 2004, Copley News Service article: "In an interview last week, Obama said he decided to call himself Barack -- a Swahili derivative of Arabic that means 'blessed,' as 'baruch' does in Hebrew -- after his father died.""

From my point of view I think this Barack Obama chap looks decent enough, his policies and various articles are sound and seem to meet his goals fairly well. Mind you as someone outside of the United States, it is hard to form an opinion of the man. I just think it would be rather refreshing to have a black man as president, perhaps with Mrs Clinton as his vice-resident. Might send the Republicans up the wall, but would probably be better for your country than anyone the right wing are fielding.
