*shrugs*
If Australia is anything like most European countries, "religious affiliation" for most of the population refers to going to church on Christmas. And maybe possibly on Easter, if absolutely necessary.
I think a lot of people just consider it tradition to call themselves Christians (or whatever else).
It's just the younger generations that are getting more honest about it and don't regard themselves as having any religious affiliations any more.

I second that meh.
I resent you thinking for one second that you could even come close to having a thought remotely resembling, much less mirroring, one of my own.

I have no feeling one way or the other. People can believe what they want, have faith (or not) in what they want.

Maybe if I were someone like Wilgrove, that would be the case, but I am not.
My "meh' expresses far more than just mere disinterest. My "meh" is directed at the OP's expressed happiness toward the results of the study, not the study itself.

Or, more likely, they believe in something else that's idiotic instead of gods.

Nativism, communism, free-market capitalism, democracy, anarchism, etc.

The list of complete bullshit things to believe in encompasses quite a bit more than the world's various religions.

Yeah, coming from my country where 'Jedi' is an official religion.

If you say you are a Jedi you automatically get put into the 'no religion' category. I think it was 0.5% of the population that cast the the 'Jedi' choice.

How can they be Sith? The Sith at least always 'remember' what they did...
