"Net Authority"
I'm sure this kind of thing isn't new, but this absolutely made me giggle.
"Net Authority" (http://www.netauthority.org/)
The group seeks to create an internet "acceptable use policy", which bans pornographic material, hateful material, material of "offensive political nature"...blasphemy and mentions of bestiality/interracial relationships*
...When right-wing Christian fundies find the net...there is epic win AND fail at the same time.
Check out the proposed AUP there for a laugh, and also take a look at their database for some lulz as well.
I'm still trying to find out whether or not they're actually serious, or if they're just a group of agent provacatures...You decide yourself.
*Because bestiality and interracial relationships are two sides of the same coin to certain fundies. And let's not forget both are a gateway drug to homosexuality...
NOTE: Yes, I tried to find Nationstates on their database. We're not on there...yet... XD

They're either satire or crazy. They've got standards that are ridiculously strict, and as a result their database has Fox News, Apple, Ask.com, and dozens of Christian sites. They've even got Newegg and Runescape on there, for some reason.
Edit: A few more ridiculous gems: Disney, Food Network, the DEA, NASA.

I love this. They complain about the sites, then give you a link to them. I love the part of their disclaimer I've highlighted.

"Even if your website has evaded our offender database, if it is in violation of the AUP then it is your duty to report it to us and indicate its non-compliance with one of these badges."
Oh, that's good.

Agents provocateurs. "Agents provacatures" would mean something like "agents pro cows".
This fails to hard that it loops back past win, and past fail again, spinning faster and faster until it actually travels back in time. This epic failure is what killed the dinosaurs.

...Right. In all honesty, I thought I was spelling it wrong, but I wasn't all that concerned.

Damn--I got it backwards. i was hoping Fox News was reporting on it. Think if we forward this to Bill O'Reilly, he'll fall for it and condemn them on the air?
Lol, classic. Too bad they don't have a link to Landover Baptist Church. And yes, it is a joke.

I submitted their own site to Net Authority for containing hateful speech and blasphemy (using God's name in vain).
