I had the extreme displeasure of meeting a man from Alabama who was an unrepenting racist. Pissed me off. How can someone be so narrow minded and be such a stupid git! What the hell. I don't know what his name was, but he went on and on about how Quote: "Niggers and arabs (pronounced A -Rabs BTW) were the scourge of society..." Unquote. STUPID!

It's a toss-up between two people I knew at Ren-Faire. One was married but couldn't keep his hands off underaged girls (he even displayed his "interests" in front of his mother and father-in-law) and was, eventually, run over by his own car (no one was driving it at the time and he was sloshed). The other one had issues with hygiene and stalked a friend of mine - even a restraining order and repeated firm kicks in the testicles couldn't convince him that she wasn't secretly in love with him.

Oh, then there's my ex-husband. He has two master's degrees (History and English), but refuses to watch movies or TV shows that have African-Americans associated with them in any way - pretty much limits his viewing options. He also teaches college courses at a prison - I wonder how he convinces the administration to keep blacks out of his classes?

I swear there should be some sort of test that you have to take when you turn 18 to decide if you are worthy of having meaningful human interactions. Punishment for failure, sterilization, and solitary confinement. Just to filter out the dumbasses.

This woman who saw me smoking and told me that it'll give me AIDs. I said she was thinking of cancer and she got all offended and accused me of calling her stupid. I said that I didn't think she was stupid, she was just thinking of the wrong disease. Then she called me a fascist slut and threw coffee all over me. Every time I look at that burn mark on my arm, I think of her.

the first 10 (i think) posts of every new poster have to be vetted by a moderator. it's a jolt rule rather than an NS rule i believe. the mods here just validate them as soon as they see them, unless they are heavily trollish or flamey i guess.

The doors had been blocked with fire-line tape, and a bunch of employees were loitering behind the blockade, waiting for the firefighters to give the all-clear.

Would-be customers would come up, and when they saw the "Fire Line - Do Not Cross" tape, they proceeded to say (with utmost seriousness) things like:

"What happened? A robbery?"
Some even said that after reading the warning out loud!

I haven't had the same opinion of humans since.

I know you slapped on of them. If I saw someone read outloud "Fire Line, Do Not Cross!" and then ask what happened, I would have slapped them, pulled out a piece of paper and caught on fire. Then I would drop it in front of them and tell them to figure it out. (But with some people, all you would get is this :confused:)
