Truman Show was fucking awesome. Everything else he did was crap.

I was like 8 when I saw it, I just remember how awesome it was to see a robot rhino give birth to a naked guy.

Not...necessarily. Some of those bodies, I believe, turned out to be from homeless people.

Von Hagens has been repeatedly accused of using bodies from deceased persons who did not give consent, such as prison inmates and hospital patients from Kyrgyzstan and executed prisoners from China.

The California Science Center apparently confirmed that all his exhibits use corpses that were donated by the people with informed consent. However, he apparently only says that of the bodies in the Body Worlds exhibit. He doesn't apparently make such claims about the bodies at his main institute.

There's lots of examples of how human bones are not left where they were buried, I just went for the most interesting one first...
With all the examples of digging up corpses and bones for archaeological purposes, or to build on the ground they were buried in, or because they start seeping into the water supplies, of for whatever other reason, I find it a bit hard to be outraged at that example.
