umm naaa havn't herad it, but I did get the new Orange Goblin Cd the other day. thats quite good.

Well Icky Thump is pretty much the best thing I've heard in a long time. It's so varied, yet so distinctly the same, yet so different.

I haven't heard it, or, for that matter, any White Stripes since White Elephant. However, even to my tastes, they seem rather damn good, if a little consciously anthemic.

The White Stripes have completed the recording and mixing of their sixth album. It is entitled Icky Thump, and is their first album to include a title track, which curiously (and not ironically) has the same words in it's [sic] name. Though some residents of northern England might almost recognize the title, the Stripes stress they are spelling it wrong intentionally just for "kicks" and "metaphors," and to avoid a possible lawsuit from the estate of Billy Eckstine.

Anwyay, The White Stripes are awesome. Wasn't such a fan of Get Behind Me Satan, but de Stijl, White Blood Cells, and Elephant are brilliant.

Damn straight. Jack White, tha knows nowt lad. Sod yer kicks and yer metaphors, just tek the lawsuit like a proper bloke would - drivin round yer farm at 50 mile an hour in a defender 90.
