This thread is about the people who fought the terrorists on flight 93. They crashed into a field. The plane was thought to go to the capital building. So this is about 9-1-01.

...and what would you like us to say about it?

Not to mention it was 9/11. And it was the Capitol building, not the capital building

Um...old news?

Also, the date was 9/11, not 9/1. Unless the OP was meant to subtly propose a theory that Flight 93 was in fact scheduled for the 1st, not the 11th, thereby debunking the establishment's understanding of the events.

This would have been funny if it wasn't about 9/11. If this was meant to be funny, the author needs to get a grip and lose two good friends to see how I and many others felt.

I would have forgiven and forgotten it if it had been a single typo. This thread is borderline disgraceful, and so is the O.P.'s knowledge of world events.

And man, if you thought September First and September 11th were bad, trust me September 21st and 31st were totally demoralizing. But of course, that was mostly due to Lucas having been totally out of touch with his core audience, and the weakness of the sequels. But there were some surprising highlights - George Bush was expertly cast as Senator Palpatine, for example.

I think you are all missing the obvious - the important date is actually Sep 1st when it comes to flight 93. You see... that is the day there was a little too much jet fuel leaking out which made the mechanics just a bit high (well, higher than normal).

The whole thing about passengers heroically trying to recapture the plane from the terrorists is just a plot by the airlines to conceal that it was actually shoddy maintenance by high mechanics. They just got lucky and the plane held together long enough for them to blame it on terrorists.

Dont let the airline industry fool you, it was actually just completely coincidental that the crash happened on the 11th.

9/11 is the abbreviated version of "September 11," on which date certain men in black from the US government set off hidden explosives in teh world trade center, fired a missle at the pentagon, and fired a missle at George Bush Jr's ranch, and tried to blame it on Muslim terrorists. This video is banned in the USA

9/11 is also the date on which certain fascist terrorists led by Augusto Pinochet and backed by the USA hijacked the democratically-elected socialist government of Chile, as a result of which some 3,000 innocent South Americans were executed or “disappeared.” Funny old thing, history. If you think this is at all relevant, you are a terrorist.

9/11 is also known to be the date on which a whole bunch of crazy indians killed all the populace and set the Chilean city of Santiago on fire. And then raped all the women. After killing and burning them. Crazy people.

He can't reply... the auto-modding of your first ten posts means that it's not possible to respond in any kind of timely fashion to anything posted in the thread that you've just created. I got bitten on the ass by this too, when a thread I created gathered a whole heap of pretty interesting responses and I found myself unable to reply.

A shame, really... would have been good to see if he had anything of substance to add :(

It was 6 years ago. Get over it. In those 6 years since 3000 people died in those attacks, millions have been killed in conflicts, or died from poverty and famine. In Iraq alone up to around 500,000 people have been displaced, wounded, or killed. So don't talk about the tragedy, or bravery of that day. It is over with. In the past. Done. Fin.
