$26 for a dress and someone complains that she should have spent it on starving children - or is my sarcasm radar jammed?

You know, upon looking, there could be a bit more to your complaint that, for some reason, you're not including in your OP.

Clearly some people will bitch no matter what.

And my shoes cost more then Angelina Jolie's dress.

GirlGoneLeBron: Angelina Jolie wore a $26 dress to the NYC premiere of A Mighty Heart.
GirlGoneGrady: When every designer would kill to have Angie in their dresses for free, how can she justify spending money for an outfit that could be better spent feeding orphans in Zimbabwe?

Clearly, Angelina cares more about finding vintage pieces like this one than starving kids. (Evan Agostini, Getty Images)

when it comes to angelina jolie, what is said is always more than what is said.

On the other hand, Jolie is an objectivist. I'm not sure she'd care about starving kids. :D

My T-shirts cost more than that dress, I go out to eat for dinner for more than that....

Compared to most stars, some of whom do pay for their dresses, that is VERY little.

Compared to the good that Angelina Jolie has done as a Peace Ambassador (I read her book Notes from my Travels, you forget it is her writing it) this is nothing.

Actually overall the woman is a pretty good person, at least from what I have read, but not sure why she went off and married Brad Pitt that was a negative to me. Even though their on equal "status" so to speak.

Then you have to consider her heels probably cost more than your house.

Yea since I am a student and I rent ;).

Its more likely that her necklace or earrings cost more than my house, or your house.

Or wrote Notes from my Travels which talks about how she helped them, and sincerely how she felt the entire time. I felt it was very authentic, did not even seem as if she wrote it.

Though aid workers and others validate she was indeed there, suffering with everyone

$26 dollar dress... shocking. I mean think what she COULD have done with that $26? Think of the children Angelina! Why won't you think of the starving children? Oh wait... you do don't you?

Carry on.

I spent $100 on each of my ties. I wonder what they'd have to say about that.
