I was just reading the band name thread and a few names amused me which got me to thinking, what is the most amusing name for a band you have ever heard? I've always been quite tickled by Anal Vomit and Fuck...I'm Dead.

Every single name of every Metal band ever makes me laugh.

Sex Pistols makes me giggle.

I live in Japan where I have my choice of bands with 'names' such as Bump of Chicken, Puffy AmiYumi, Kinki Kids, Morning Musume, ORANGE RANGE, and Love Psychedelico amoung many, many others.

Sometimes it's all I can do to keep FROM giggling.

Anyway, I've not found many band names to be amusing.

In fact, I cannot recall a single one that was amusing at the moment.

I would find Seattle's legendary Super Sonic Soul Pimps to be an amusing band name -- if that band didn't kick so much ass.

My dad used to roadie for a band called Big Captian Organ - good band sound a bit like motorhead, the leadsinger looks a bit like Buster Bloodvessel of Badmanners fame.

But the best name of a band I know of has to be Alabama Thunder Pussy!

Tongue-in-cheek their lyrics indeed are, but the members of the band, especially Seth Putnam, are actually dicks, while Putnam has espoused, in all seriousness, fairly stupid views.
