Look at the names 'Smith', 'Walker' and 'Jones', pretty damn common too and you don't hear anyone saying we need to fix those names.
I can't say I know a Smith Walker or Jones. Though I must admit if my last name was Smith or Jones I'd likely change it.

I'm a Williams. Another extremely common name. Though after August 12th, I won't be a Williams any more. I'll have a fairly uncommon name. :)
I'm a Smith... my grandmother on my father's side was a Walker... and my Great Grandma was a Jones...
I know about 200 Smiths Walkers and Joneses
I'll be taking a woman named Amber Walker out for her birthday next monday...
I happen to know a lot of people with those names.
