Here's the story. Myself and some friends are planning to visit Holland ,more precisely Amsterdam, next April to experience the day of Queens Day. Just wanted to get some information from you to tell us what we could expect, any decent but cheap hotels (unless you want to have a group of 18 and 19 year olds in your house :p), the best places to be during the festivities and anything we should check out while we're there. We'd be there for about a week or so and information is appreciated.
Also any stories you would like to share about the event or any holiday any of you have taken that was excellent, crap or somewhere in between, go for it.
