What are your (http://mingle2.com/zombie-quiz) chances of survival?

I got 50% chance of survival. Maybe I shouldn't hesitate to kill my loved one that turns into a zombie.

Also, add anything else that fits into zombie discussion here!

I have a 31% chance of survival! Yay!

Frankly, I would just wear my zombie disguise and join in on the action. I'd finally have an excuse to eat brains.

I had 49 but misclicked and took it again with a 52 percent. I'm screwed either way most likely. Still, I'd rather save my ass then some else but I don't own a gun or know how to use it. As for explosives, if I can learn then i'm fine, if not, I may take myself out in the process but it seems a better alternative than zombie food.

Only 63%, but some of the questions are dumb.

I've read the field guide to surviving a zombie apocalypse, and that quiz didn't have all the right answers.

I use to consider it about 0% but I'd say it's up to the 70-90% range with the plans I've cooked up. Even without a bunch of weapons too.

Mine wouldn't require many either.

1) Gather supplies and people
2) Get on boat, head to nearest small island/river bank with a lot of fish and full visibility. Beach boat, keep keys in ignition and keep supplies onboard.
3) Use fishing hole for food after supplies run out
4) If a zombie should come, hop in boat and either flee or wait for zombie to leave if there are no firearms or ranged weapons available

There's a mountain nearby that's over two miles high and it freezes nightly, so presuming the undead are basic undead zombies that cannot produce any of their own heat I'd be fine. Also the mountain is really steep on the side the city is on and the other side is pretty steep also and only has one road. Plus there is a restaurant and a very large gift shop with a great view so I can observe the action in the city clearly. I will also be downwind from the city so my scent will blow across hundreds of miles of empty plains before it reaches any zombies.

Yeah, no forts around here...

Your plan looks fairly solid, but long-term stays might pose problems.

Yeah thats like what maybe a month of living? I learned everything I need to know about killing zombies from Dead Rising so I just based my answers off of that and what I know from common sense like if a loved one is turned into a zombie they're already dead and coming back to life as a horrible monster makes them a different person so of course you're going to have to kill them

75% Chance of Survival

Damn, you beat my 73%.

Still, I know where there's a hidden Cold War era nuclear shelter, under a patch of woodland only two minutes drive from my house. That's got to count for something. Almost no-one knows where it is, and even if the zombies managed to find it and get inside, they could only come down the tunnel one at a time.

That said, I'd probably feel safer if I just headed for the hills.

Yeah, no forts around here...

I live near Cambridge and many of the colleges are built like fortresses: high stone walls, big oak doors, and lots of small windows to shoot from. When the zombies come, that's where I'm heading.

Did I mention that most of the colleges also have large wine-cellars? ;)

Headshot machine. Can make molotovs. Would shack up in a Wal-Mart (lots of food and ammo and guns... and bikes... weee...), would shoot my family in a half a second if they turned. I know better.

Out of shape, living in a city, owning no guns.

I figure a place like a university would be the worst place to go, because everyone will have the same idea. My planned hide out is the loft of my school's theater which has one entrance point (can zombies climb ladders?) and multiple exit points through various rooms locked from the inside at all times. In addition, the theater is built on top of a vast series of steam tunnels which can take you anywhere in or around the school. so if the hide out is compromised there are a number of ways to get out.

75% chance btw.

In like two hours from my home, on foot, I can reach a nearby huge mountain (my city is placed in a valley), and with two or three more hours on foot I can reach an old abandoned spanish fort used to fend off pirates. It is still in great shape, and it is far enough from any populated area. The zombies would had to do a lot of a crawl and climb over there. Being a mountain that is also a national park, and a tropical rainforest, the smell of the plants would disguise the scent for miles.

The fort is almost a Tintagel, only one person can approach it at a time. You could stand in the front part of the fort and throw off the zombies down a cliff using a pitch fork. Even more if you have firearms.

Worked always with pirates. I can't see why it shouldn't with zombies.

Knowing the city, more than just one person would try to reach there. Of course, I would defend that once we are at least ten sane and healthy ones, we start shooting down anyone else who approach. More ideas, a pool of gasoline along the path would be a fine method of defense. After all, the fort is made of thick stone, it doesn't catch fire easily. And the vegetation is always green.

The easy examining part would be "Strip naked and give slow turns or we will open fire". No bites, you're in. Wounds, you're shot.

I haven't got many non perishables and no weapons. Also i think going to the police might have been a bad idea even though they may have guns there. I live in quite a large town, but I couldn't drive 20 mins across town because I'm not old enough yet.

If it were zombie apocalypse, I assure you that you'd be able to drive cross town. At the apocalypse, law is merely a suggestion.

There's food and weapons there?

I would bring the weapons, I have a handgun, and a melee weapon of choice in my house, (I have several, I even have a bow). Lots and lots of canned food. We live in the constant threat of political instability. When you fear civil war any day, you tend to have lots of canned food, and are prepared to stay at home for weeks should the need arise. Should my father or my brother would be at home, we would be out, the three of us, and could carry more stuff between the three.

That plan sounds good, but for real, I am zombie food. I am a journalist, should something like a zombie apocalypse happens, I would be called to the streets, and get eaten, most likely. Of course, I am smart enough to run if the shit hits the fan, but perhaps it would be too late. journalists are most likely to be first casualties in such events.

I've know a few that wouldn't be tasty not even for zombies. I am pretty sure they would just either avoid them, or think they are so dumb that they are just another zombie.

Oh, I met a FOX news reporter this week, yes.
