If any of you Americans have the Sundance channel, may I suggest tuning in at 9pm tonight (Sunday).

They are up to the third episode of John Safran vs God (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Safran_vs._God). It is an Aussie comedy/documentary show where the host travels around the world experiencing various religious practices including witchcraft, Islam, Voodoo and much other zany stuff.

Anyway, on tonight's episode he travels to California and meets some KKK guys. They go back to their little compound and, during the interview he reveals he is a Jew, and tries to persuade them to let him join.

He also works as an altar boy at a Catholic church in Sydney amongst other stuff.

lol. That would be pretty zany. It'd start off by some KKK guy opening a cooler/esky and finding some watermelon or something. And then some black guys is in the car park and looks through the back windshield of one of the cars and sees some golf clubs. A hilarious food-fight ensues.

There was actually a jew in the KKK,... He was the granddragon of New York to be exact. His story is so interesting, that even a movie (The Believer was based on him). Point is; He was very intelligent, in his youth very religious, one of the best students of his yaschiva jewish school, then he started getting "dissapointed" with the jewish religion, etc.. He said studying it as extensively as he has they were among the most hypocritical, perverse and undeserving people on the face of the earth, etc.. Got into regular fights with his Rabbi on aspects of Judaism. Became increasingly frustrated with his jewish identity. He found Judaism to be equivalent with weakness, always being persecuted, suferring pogroms, holocausts etc... In the end he joined the armed forces to get away from his life.

Eventually he found his way to the anti-semitic groups. He is blond and blue eyed, since he was of russian descent, a russian jew. Hence no one actually came to think of it at first that he could be anything but "Aryan."

When it got leaked that he was jewish. He decided to kill himself immediatly rather then face the publicity that would ensue. Ironically his mother and his Yeshiva rabbi teacher still speak somewhat fondly of him saying he was one of the most intelligent kids he had, but who went astray on the wrong path.

I saw John Safran vs God about 3 years ago, he also went to a bantu witch doctor to get rid of a curse put on the Australian Football team the Socceroos, it worked.:(

I also used to watch John Safran's Music Jamboree, i first saw it 6 years ago, pure awesomeness.
His Rap group, i can't remember its name but i do remember Jewtown and the Music Mole.:p
