That right. The squiggles that like too show up on go away, without so much as a howdy-do. Whether in your peripheral vision, or in your direct sight, they are truly annoying. About 2 months ago, they became more frequent in my line of sight, eventually prompting me too submit too an eye exam. Long story short, I'm near sighted. I got a little more than I bargained for eh? It might been easier too simply as someone why I was getting those "floaters." Well now I know I have Myopia- the sentence- full time prescription lenses.....great.

More too the point, it seems eye problems are increasingly common nowadays, as eye glasses are more common (or so I have noticed) and contacts. Does anyone here have an optical abnormalities? Problems with floaters?

Apparently floaters are normal, pieces of jelly in the eye that occasionally Cross the retina.

edit: Dammit I didnt get the poll in....

Well I got glasses in the last month, but I wasn't having squiggle things, I just was getting bad headaches (like really nasty) and getting really tired (it was really strange) after reading up close for over 10 minutes, yeah so long short short I was near sighted and have to wear prescription lenses. They aren't that bad though, it's strange at first getting used to having this foreign object on your face, but you don't realize your wearing them after a while. My only suggestion is, get frames you like, it may sound vain but you have to wear for years so yeah.

I see the same kind of stuff sometimes, especially when I'm looking at something bright. Not sure it can be cured - maybe apply some cocaine? It's still used in opthamology, I think. :p
