WOOHOO!! The Ottawa Senators lost the cup! The Anaheim Mighty Ducks take the cup in game 5!

There is nothing more satisfying that seeing your least favourite hockey team lose the Stanely Cup. The only thing more satisfying would be if the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Cup.

That's because Ottawa fans are a bunch of pussies. They're so obnoxious. Why should we cheer for a team of wankers whose fanbase is made up of bunch of people from a city that stinks like a yak butt? (ok, so I hate Ottawa)...

That's what we say about Toronto fans (we also say that they molest their children and make human sacrifices, but that is neither here nor there), but we would still root for them if they had a team that could make it anywheres in the playoffs.

Ordinarily I don't care one way or the other, being a fan of the Lightning, Rangers and Sabres, although I do dislike Ottawa. But I was rooting for the ducks because I like Teemu Selanne, as a player and as a person, and I felt like he really deserved to win.

I, too, was heartbroken when the Red Wings fell in 6 to the Ducks, but give them some credit - the new ownership dropped the name "Mighty Ducks of Anaheim" and the team is thankfully known simply as the "Anaheim Ducks." So now, instead of sounding like a cheesy kids' movie, they sound like a West Coast college team. They're moving up in the world.

Beauchemin is the Top defenseman from Quebec IMHO.

I lived in Ottawa for 12 years. It was the most miserable 12 years of my life. It went down hill when they got the Sens. I liked the Leafs and my peers gave me a hard time about it. Of course, it's part of the reason why I'm glad they lost.

For some reason I am, too. Which is weird as team team pretty much sucks. In the playoffs, Naslund has the offencive prowess of Tie Domi, the Sedins haven't turned into the superstars that the were supposed to be years ago, and besides Mitchel and Cooke nobody can hit decently which is odd for a defensive team.
