How rare is your name?

Khadgar

When I google my first and last name (in quotes) I get 0 results.

Nary a single one.

Googling my co-workers names I come up with as few as 11 for one guy to 944,000 for my boss.

More time wasting activity from Google.

There are three of me.

There is me, the playwright/set crew worker who takes up most of the results.

Then there is me, the junior college baseball outfielder.

And the third, and I think favorite, me is the horseshoe champion/alien abductee. This guy I like.

Mainly for a woman who works for Coca Cola Austria and genealogy sites with a German immigrant who died in the US in the late 1800s.

Edit: Actually only 21 "real" hits, the other ones aren't displayed.

When I include my middle name with " " I get 1 hit, and it is an obituary...disturbing. My real full name will render you zero info about on any public site I have searched.

The zaba search of my full name gets this intial response
"Too many XXX XXX XXX listings found!

Narrowing the search by using my state of birth yields a singel hit connected to me...

22 results with my first and last name in quotes, and they are all about me except for one. That one that isn't about me is about someone with the same first name who works for a company that was founded by my great-grandfather and has my family's name but is no longer owned by the family.

Some of the hits that are actually about me are from like...Taiwan. Which is kind of scary.

First and last name combined, there's only me in the Anglophonic world. If you allow for the Germanization of my first name, then there's two people with my name.

Last name alone seems to be a little more common, with several firms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland coming up with it (Austria's Leading Importer of Horticultural Products!) a member of a socialist acting troupe in Argentina, and a Brazilian pet supplies company. As well as an isolated group of the descendants of a bunch of Swiss colonists living on an island off the coast of Brazil.

First name...well that's Andrew. There's loads of Andrews.

Full name (first middle last) in quotes gets me nothing.

Without quotes it gets me 'about 30' 2 of which are me, about 20ish are my grandmother, and the rest are crazy latvian sites. Edit: all the latvian sites seem to be using my last name as a noun. So if its just the two of us, its still pretty unique.

About half the female population of Finland has the same first name as me. And my grandmother has the same first and last name as me. Not terribly unique. However around here nobody has the same spelling as me. Which is nice.

564 hits.

I didn't check them all (and previous egosearches have revealed that the only mentions of the real me were in news articles that preceded the Intarweb), but the front page turned up a prisoner due for release in 2018, and what appears to be a baseball player in a fantasy league that runs in the 1840s. I've never been all that good on first base, and he was born a little before me, so I'm pretty sure it's not me.

Basically, "Big Hill" is the meaning of my last name... so my full name meaning would be:

Only 3,680 results. Surprising given how common-sounding both of my names are.

A lot of the hits are associated with an actor, and there's a few bloggers on there.

It also appears I'm not the only person on MySpace with my name.

Best yet:

It takes until page 6 of the hits to find something related to me. And it's a link that's beyond ancient.

You'd need to be a bit patient to track me down.
