I was browsing google looking for pictures for a project I'm doing on the Cold War when I encountered this.......

COLD WAR UNICORNS......."COMMIE" VS "FREEDOM"
I think that this is pretty lolz....but at the same time it's kinda brainwashy
but what does NSG think of this blatantly obvious attempt at playing politics with children?

I believe these kinds of products are less for actual children and more for older "children at heart" political-savvy collectors. Y'know. Something strange and funny to put on the bookshelf or desk.

The red one looks much cooler, because it's simple. The stars&stripes one looks 'over the top' to me ;)
Oh wait... that wasn't what you were asking :p
I wonder if they're really sold...
And for the rest, it is good to inform kids about politics... but I'm not sure if toys are the best way to do that.

I don't think it's aimed at children in the first place. I mean, unless that was off the Toys R Us website.

Naw..I looked at their website..looks more like gag toys and off-end things. (i.e., a baby with a cig in its mouth, t-bone air freshener...)

That Commie unicorn looks freakin' awesome compared to the "Freedom" one.
I concur. Revolutionary Scarlet is so striking.
Stars and Stripes is silly.

Well, the baby with the cig in its mouth is understandable. Who wants a nerdy baby?

Just because I don't support private property doesn't make me a Commie... Oh, wait... ;)
