What's your birthday?

The Nazz
02-06-2007, 03:48
And no, I'm not simply asking what day of the year you were born on. I'm asking you what day your birthday is (http://www.chainletters.net/?item=335). For example, my birthday, November 7, is National Bittersweet Chocolate With Almonds Day. My daughter's birthday, frighteningly enough, is National Beheading Day (September 2).

Why is there a national beheading day in the first place?

I imagine this is probably a hoax of some sort, and I'm not putting much effort into investigating it (read--none at all), but it seems like a fun thing to do on a rainy Friday night.

I got the "joy" of watching my parents and little sister Rachael finally watch the Stargate: Atlantis episode "Sunday."

For those wondering why "joy" is in quotation marks, "Sunday" is a wonderful episode about the various characters, that unfortunatelly ends with one of the most beloved--Dr. Carson Beckett--dead. Sad thing was Paul McGillion--the actor playing Beckett--was asked to leave the show by the writers and didn't leave himself. It broke the heart of the other cast members too, according to him in his interview with Gateworld.

Anyway, to answer your question...

March 24 is . . . . National Chocolate Covered Raisins Day!

Neat!

But then there are only 365 possible days to be born on, so sharing one's birthday with a famous figure of some sort is bound to happen.

Anyway, this list is almost obviously fake. Take a look at what it lists for days considered usually to be other, more well-known holidays.

On the other hand...my mom's birthday is listed as Eight Track Tape day...maybe I should go buy one just to see her reaction. :D
