just thinking random about women...and i know it will make girls mad....but....really think about women/girls..why do they dress pretty and wear makeup?
i have come to the conclusion it is to atract a mate..duh....but why do women get so offended when men look at them in a sexual way...is not that what they want?,or is it only the guy they like as an a prospective mate ok to look at them?
they feign offense if you ogle them if your not the cup of tea for them...but the guy they like..they giggle and put on lipstick.
i know it sounds like sour grapes..it aint...i just find it amusing that girls take the moral high groung when it comes to things sexual....how dare you look at my tit's that are hanging out...when they aint attracted..but if the guy they like ogles...they are giggle machines..i find it amusing the double standard.
i aint bitching..i treat women like they deserve to be..if your that shallow you get treated that way...but i do find it interesting that girls get offended when guys dog them...when they dress like they do..to attract males...and selectively disparage the ones they dont want attention from, but act like silly girls when the guy they like pays the same attention.
what got me thinking of this subject was the fact that my girl is pissed i am with a young girl...but i see how she dresses, and she is fishing for the guy that she wants...the guy with money and power...i see how she disses guys that are decent cause they dont bring to the table what she wants...it's her life...but she gets mad at me for wanting what i want..lol...life is funny.
you cant have it both ways...i try to tell her..the primal urge of women is to find the alpha male that will best protect/care for her...and vice verse the primal urge of men is to find the girl that is best for him to mate with...it sounds disgusting, but it is true.
i know that in this day and age some find soul mates..i think i did..but the reality for most is that primal thing..especially for women....i may be wrong...discuss

I think the difference is between being treated as objects and treated as people. Same for men actually.
...and girls may treat men as objects as well but be quickly turned off when they realize they're schmucks, if that's what they are. So do men actually.
As people we're all contradictory between our Id and Ego - we're human, nothing to get upset about.
Why your daughter is upset has nothing to do with how women are looked at. She's reacted against you having another partner and found ways to justify that reaction to herself.
I highly doubt this is a bannable thread.

Sure, if a woman dresses provocatively and then sneers at you for noticing, she's probably being rude. It happens, I'm sure. I'd just ignore it and look as much as I liked. :p

I'll stick to biologists such as Dawkins for opinions on what sexual impulses drive human behaviour, thank you very much! It's a tad more complex than "frail little female wants big alpha male gorilla to come and protect her" ...

I can't speak for all women, but I most certainly do not dress to attract a mate. If I wear something pretty, I wear it because I like it, not because I hope guys will like it. Furthermore, I find ogling strangers to be exceedingly rude, and would be just as irritated if a young, attractive man ogled me as I would if an elderly, 400-pound man with no teeth ogled me. It's not that freaking hard to control one's own behavior, and I think it's pathetic when guys argue "I can't help staring at your tits! They're available to be stared at!"

Woah woah woah - men can't help looking at tits - fact. If you have breasts and they're in anyway even slightly exposed, we're simply programmed to look - you have to be a man to understand that. It is that freaking hard.
Your other points are fine.

Heh. I do understand that (up to a point, at least), which is why I used the word "ogle" rather than "look." A quick glance is forgivable. Openly staring, on the other hand, is really colossally uncool.

With that said, I do not encourage you to try again; it's annoying to clean up suicide-by-Mod attempts. And I strongly advise against posting while drunk! Things are not really as witty as they appear through beer goggles.

The worst is the 'vacant stare' - when, as a guy, you suddenly find yourself having been staring without even thinking about it and you're not even sure how long you've been doing it. Then you look up to the expression on the face....
Never good.
