As you probably know, Liberia has Africa's first and only female elected head of State. She was interviewed recently, and it's fairly interesting if you had (like me) little or no idea what's currently happening in that country.

Given that my computer does not have speakers, I would ask, does it seem, from her point of view, like the situation is looking up in Liberia?

She's cautious, saying that a lot still needs to be done, that it's difficult, etc... For the most part she's tried to come across as optimistic - but then, as president, she more or less has to.
