I especially like Halliburton and Iran.
Much as I want to applaud that story, the very first sentence set off alarm bells for me.
According to journalist Jason Leopold,
Leopold, of Truthout, has been so wrong, so many times, that I can't trust a word he says, even when he's reporting something I want to believe. He's got Fox News quality credibility.

Oh, and I fixed your link in my quote.

This link works (http://www.projectcensored.org/censored_2007).

And none of the stories on that list surprised me, but I'm also more of a news junkie than I have any cause to be.

I call BS purely on the basis that 2007 isn't over yet. . .

Yeah, I was wondering what was up with that too. Maybe censorship is like auto manufacturing?

I was finding it all interesting (and indeed a tad worrying) until I got to this:
#18 Physicist Challenges Official 9-11 Story
Which made suddenly wonder whether it's all crap. I do so wish they wouldn't keep going on about b/s controlled explosions in the WTC towers. It just undermines everything they have to say.

That oceans story is definitely being reported. I mean that's all Al Gore's film is about, or at least a good chunk of it on how the oceans are dying.

Some of this is obvious, like the US is torturing and bombing Iraq. Ummm... yeh it's war it's bad but what did you expect the US to NOT do these things, ditto with the World Bank stuff.

I also love how the internal link to number 13 is the number 11 story as if that is 100% true.

Besides that interesting and very useful for debate purposes. Thank you to whoever posted it.

Agreed. That story alone totally undermines the credibility of the entire site.

I'll agree 100%. I think we can stamp one big BS tag on this.

If it was censored, its fairly odd I've heard of most of these. In additon "Halliburton Charged ....." is a rather misleading title. I was also aware that Haliburton was doing business with Iran until recently, and I don't follow news of multinationals per se. The Iraq OPEC has been mentioned by me on this and other boards a few times as well, and I'm not some well informed Journalist.

"Physicist Challenges Official 9-11 Story" *points and laughs.

This here shows some examples of real censorship...

Even with the barest of browsing I can already disprove one of them. Right now, I'm drinking from an Aquafina water bottle...

...refilled with tap water (for the eleventy billionth time). So much for Atma having to throw out the bottle.
