Oh, please. While the current government really does seem to be the putrid scrapings off the bottom of the proverbial Polish barrel, Poland has been the butt of jokes for far longer than those ugly and creepy twins have been at the helm. I remember a common Western sentiment that went along the lines of "why do people bitch so much about Turkey, when we're letting Poland into the union?" and that was quite telling.
