Which would you choose?

Not Blackpool, England - you should choose another location that you're not living in - we have far better names like Yetsomuckhart, Yardley Gobion and Billericay to choose from.

In that case I am torn between GB and UK.

Meh, I guess UK. That's somewhat pronounceable. Plus, its the one with the websites. Like Jolt.Co.Uk!

That's very true, clearly I had not thought of that.

There ought to be laws against Blackpool.

There are, James II outlawed Blackpool in 1497, I don't how it's managed to survive

I went with England. 'Cause I'd rather not visit Europe, and the other two England-related options included Wales (I think). Not a fan of Wales.

Hmmmm...
Here comes the voice of reason...

The United Kingdom consists of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and is the only nation on that list.
Great Britain is an island which is made up of the constituent countries of Scotland, England and Wales.
England is the only country on that list, albeit a constituent of the UK as opposed to being an independent state.
Europe is a series of connected peninsulas held to be a separate continent to Asia for historical and cultural reasons, making it not a country. It's largely comprised of a union of states under the European Union, which also is not a country.

I've vote UK if Ruffy meant nation and England if he meant country.
Keep me away from the Continent. Ugh.

Nah, you'd want to live at/in Jupiter. It has the raw resources (hydrogen, asteroid belt) and would be suited well for extraplanetary construction.

The magnetic field would be good to help trap low density plasma as well (though since you have the vast hydrogen stores I don't see why you would bother...).

Well it would be really hard to live on the only real solid part of the planet (either a solid, rockey core or an almost solid liquid hydrogen/helium/methane mix which would crush any structure in the forseeable future.

You could live inside the higher aspects of the atmosphere though...

Anyway, I voted Europe. On rethinking, I probably would repeal my vote, but wouldn't choose any of the other options either.

I'd ideally go for a single Earth nation.

Why stay there? Make it a single human species state (with provisions to make it a single human+alien state).
