Which is better? "Better" being defined as having more dinosaurs.

Sleestacks are scarier than anything Lost can offer up...unless Lost can beam back in time and creep me out in my childhood to compete...

The Tyrannosaurus Rex in Land of the Lost was named Grumpy. Just for that LotL wins.

Land of the Lost was the show where a small family gets sucked back in time via a process that would make sense only to idiots and small children, correct? I remember seeing reruns of that show when I was kid.
LotL was better than Lost for its lack of pointless asides and time-wasters designed to stretch 5 minutes worth of plot out for a full hour so the script-writers could go one more week masturbating to positive magazine reviews rather than resolving any of the story.

Marshall, Will, and Holly on a routine expedition
Met the greatest earthquake ever known.
High on the rapids it struck their tiny raft,
And plunged them down a thousand feet below.
To the Land of the Lost. (3X)

I was going to say that they didn't travel back in time, but then the same site had that-
Used after episode #32 when Rick Marshall, the father was sent back the future and his brother Jack Marshall replaced him in the Land of the Lost.

Will and Holly Marshall, as the earth beneath them trembled
Lost their father through the door of time.
Uncle Jack went searching and found those kids at last
And now they're looking for a way to escape
From the Land of the Lost. (3X)

ENDING THEME

When I look all around, I can't believe the things I've found.
Now I need to find my way. I'm lost I'm lost find me.
Living in the Land of the Lost (2X)

So apparently they did travel through time. Little did I know.
