I think there should be a racing game were you race around in a clown car with a wheelchair tied to the back and you have to keep the wheelchair safe. It'll make racing games more interesting. In the game you can go speeding down highways, swinging down downtown and racing against death in plateaus of sharp rocks.

seems kinda boring, I'd rather just race and not worry about a damn wheelchair

I like this idea more than your first one.

how about a race in wheel chairs? you can also go into the other wheelchair sports like hockey, Basketball and others.

maybe even get into Skiiing and other winter sports that are done in wheelchairs.

I know it doesn't fit with the theme of this thread to make a serious request in a racing game, but I have a few that probably would never make it in for a number of reasons, all of which make me sad.

For on-line racing I'd like to see a sportsman rating, and your rating suffers if you bail out of a race early (I know this would punish people who lose their connection, but if you have an unstable connection this matters, so it would stay) or if you turn around and go the other way (in addition to making cars going the opposite way 'ghost cars') or bang excessively. There wouldn't be any reward per se for a high sportsman rating because you wouldn't want drivers to artificially inflate their ratings for the reward. Where it would apply is you could set a minimum sportsman level for a race so that you know the people you're going to race against aren't going to be a bunch of jackoffs.

On-line as well, and too hard to do to bother but I'd dig it is racing series. Where they have a specific set of entry rules akin to real series (no engines over a certain size, minumum weight, etc.) that you sign up for and race a season against other players. It'd be cool, but a hassle.

Another 'too much hassle to bother' but would be cool is in those massive car games like Forza and GT is to have real tuner series in there like the Koni Challenge or the World Challenge or like series from Europe/England and Japan imbedded in the game as part of it. Too many lisence fees in games that already have a ton of liscence fees, but it'd be cool. (I miss my Google spell check toolbar, Firefox sometimes makes some weird guesses...)

Back to online, I'd like to see a cruise, where players gather just to show off their rides and maybe challenge each other to 'street races.'

I'd like to be able to 'hire' drivers for endurance races instead of 'training' my ghost driver.

I want to be able to pick my 'robot' opponents. I'd like some races that might actually happen. I'd like my C6R Corvette to not be able to turn a lap close to the record set by the Toyota F1 car at Laguna Seca. I'd like the opponnets to have a personality, even if it's faked. Give me a sense I'm racing against somebody.

Wheelchairs are easy to maneuver. :p The clowns are fine and so are you in the wheelchair (depending on which character you choose)

Does anyone remember that arcade game where you steered the back end of a ladder truck, and someone in front of you drove the truck itself?

I really enjoyed the original Paperboy, though, when if comes to driving/maneuvering games.

Oh I remember that game, I was young, so of course I spent most of the time breaking glasses and stuff, it was fun. :D
