So you posted this just to begin a flame war?

Anyway, I do not know, nor is it even relevant to the religion.

Just as no matter how you believe the Earth was formed, it is around now and you are presumably on it.

No fool Peter set up the Cath. church years after Jesus told him to go out and "preach the word of God"

Jesus didn't say make this organised and impose your beliefs on everyone, he just said let people know about them. Something most Christians seem to forget

Jesus did found the Catholic church thus Catholicism is the first form of Christianity. Hence the reasons Catholics also call themselves Christians sometimes.

well he founded Christianity, and Catholicism is part of Christendom, ergo...

Jesus did little to found Christianity. Assuming he existed, and I believe there was a historical Jesus, none of the writings that form the basis of Christian teaching even existed until some 30 years after his death. Over the following three centuries, church father's edited and debated their way through an enormous volume of writings - many of which have since been lost to us - and decided for themselves which were the correct teachings and which were not.

Jesus did not "found" Christianity, that was really more due to the efforts of Paul and his contemporaries.
