Look, the New York Times wrote about how cool Baltimore is! It's neat to see one's own hangouts written about in a paper several states away.

hehe! cool, i get a similar feeling when i see adverts for jersey tourism and jersey produce in the UK. jersey's just a tiny dot on the map in the sea and yet you can go to a hotel or restaurant on the wrong side of the world and find jersey butter saches, jersey milk, jersey royal potatoes. some people are making a hell of a lot of money on that little island. and the tv adverts show places i've had parties, beaches i've spent days and weeks on and all sort of places i have wonderful memories from.

Only times I've ever been in Baltimore were for the Baltimore Aquarium and for Otakon. Nice city, kinda quiet.

yeah, it's quite cool to read about your hometown or region in a paper written on the other side of the world.
it's strange how you never see how beautiful the place you live is.

I was down there last month and spen ta few nights in the harbor/Fells point ares- Right across the harbor from the Aquarium is the Capital City Brewing Co- Go there for a Pale Rider Ale and a plate of Raven Wings.

I'm looking foward to going back for them, although under better circumstances next time.

Ooh! Ooh! Baltimore! With McNulty and The Wire!

After avidly watching four seasons of one of my favourite shows, I desperately want to visit Baltimore (or B-more... see, I’m like an West-side gangsta already...).

I've always liked Baltimore. There's just something about it I like.

P.S: It's been a while NSG. What did I miss?

Edit: The bastards redid the forum whilst I was away! They didn't ask my permission!

Nice city, kinda quiet.

You really didnt get the true Balmer experience.
The inner harbor is nothing like the real city - night life abounds with a rich tapestry of life (translation - high crime, lots of drugs, and everyone up late at night because many dont have a job to get up for in the morning).

It makes life interesting - I love it.
