To be honest...I gave up caring after my 30th...was the worst birthday ever...I didn't remind any of my mates and just snuck out with my girlfriend at the time for a meal...hated every minute of it...not gonna be bothered now till my 40th...then it really is slit your wrists time :(

Well I had a great night...

met my girl from work (cos I have the whole week off yay!)

then we went to my fave thai restaurant called koh samui and I had a chicken satay starter followed by tri-flavoured chilli duck which was gorgeous, washed down with a bottle of wine...

then we went to temple bar which is an old converted underground public toilet made into a bar (it has the best jukebox in manchester) and had a few drinks in there...then on to the Northern Quarter of town...which is the cool part of Manchester for some more drinks...my girl bought me this champagne cocktail with strawberries in it...god knows what else was in it but after that I went downhill quickly!

then back to mine for lots of drunken beeker love...but I dont have to go into detail about that ;-)

all in all a great night out ;-)
