So, I just got the laundry out of the machine and apparently I didn't pay attention :( 2 white shirts with printing were washed together with lots of colourful clothing. The result is 2 beautiful light pink shirts.
Is there any way to get them white again without ruining the printing?

you could try bleaching it if the shirts are already ruined.
But I suck with laundry.

try washing them again a few times on their own with detergent that has a whitening function. they'll probably not be back to their original state but you'll get most of the pink out. alternatively try a mild bleach and soak them for a while.

My guess is no.
Go to your friendly neighborhood drugstore and check in the detergent aisle for the special "stain remover" or "whitening" or whatever they're called in English products and read their labels to see if they're able to do the job.
I don't know if you have that Vanish Oxy-Action brand stuff in the Netherlands. It should work but it will (contrary to what it says on the label) also bleach out the colors of the pattern somewhat. Not terribly, but enough so they look washed out.

Because they used to be white in the first place? I don't want my T-shirts to become a reverse Michael Jackson :p
We shall overcome! We shall overcome some day. No more of this white purity hate!

It will also safely remove dye stains on solid white items washed by mistake with colored items.
Alas, the Dutchman's silly shirts were white with colored patterns. And that's before the accident. :p

I've already got a normal pink shirt to wear. And it actually looks good on me, especially combined with the light green longsleeve :) It also generates funny looks when I go out to town :D

Here then....
and on another site (joanns.com) it said Rit would fade other colors as if they'd been washed a couple times.

Nice. I especially liked this one: I heard recently that using a tablet that cleans dentures will whiten and take stains out. I've never tried it myself (yet). Put the item in water and add the tablet, when the fizzing stops - it's done!! I don't think this would hurt the black color, so it may be worth a try. Hope it works!! Shirley W.That sounds kind of cool. I always have these tablets around anyway for cleaning vases, so I'll try that next time.

You're more than welcome :p
So, I took a mild bleach (I was surprised that we have it here in my home), lots of hot water and the shirts in it. Now it's time to sleep and wait :)
