The bunny is really hard to resist. And yeah, gotta train those hammies better. But they did the trick. They, and letting out the frustration, that is. ;)

WYTYG thinks WYTYG is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to old to get Facebook. WYTYG thinks WYTYG is lucky she even knows how to operate one of 'em computing machines.

Quite possibly. I mean, if she came after me with that spatula, I'd do what I was told. (Which is why I joined that group on Facebook; I didn't want the threat to even come up)

Good :)

NSG can be a good place to let out ones frustration...

Surgeon Generals warning: Letting out your frustration on NSG may lead to an overdose of fluffles and cuteness. Bunnies and kittens and doggies, oh my!

WYTYG thinks WYTYG is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to old to get Facebook. WYTYG thinks WYTYG is lucky she even knows how to operate one of 'em computing machines.
It's not that difficult - Just pretend it's one of them new-fangled telegraph-thingies, just a wee bit different ;)

P.S. Bumboat also thinks she is too old for facebook. In fact Bumboat is an ancient Crone compared to everyone else in this thread.

Well, legal provided I am not her teacher, employer, soccer coach or exchanging such favours for money, or taking naughty pictures and/or recordings.

Better to stay on the safe side of age of majority, particularly if you like naughty pictures.

hmmm I sense this thread has gone completely offtopic, and I cant be bothered to read 17 pages of rambling. My uni books are bad enough!

Anyway my advice on moving into residences for uni would be: DON'T DO IT!!!!

My god man, you think this crazed look on my face is natural!! Two years in uni residences has stolen all the sanity in me, as well as my ability to sleep before 2am!!

Nearly everyone in uni dorms is a complete tosser, who listens to shit music and comes in at 3am waking you up by moving a sofa into the hall and posing on it. (not me of course, Im perfect :D )

In my two years of living in Uni residences I only managed to get a full nights sleep three times due to the noisiness of everyone around me. This is the same for everyone Ive talked to, all uni dorms are noisy. This is fine for when you're out doing whatever it is you do but if you're in trying to study, or sleep or die then it is very very irritating. I admit, I'm a boring stay-at-home, I went out once in my two years in halls which probably made it worse for me but still.....

My advice would be not to move in, find yr own place and move in there lol, or stay at home if possible.

I disagree with most of this and with the bolded part in particular. University is supposed to be a time when you're finding your bearings as an adult, and staying at home does the exact opposite of that since you're not independent. Also, going to York- which was probably 65-75% commuters- I can safely say you had quite a few people who were "overaged teens" who still acted as if it was high school all over again, keeping the same cliques and comporting themselves like everything's owed to them because they *still* don't know what it's like to fend for yourself. My five years of University helped me a lot to grow and mature as a person, allowing me to become a lot more assertive and confident in my own abilities because I had to figure out everything on my own; and I could not have gotten any of that staying at home.

LIES!

PS. Ladame thinks WYTYG should get Facebook too. :p

I'm on Facebook for what it's worth...I'm feeling a little left out with all this Facebook talk. :(

WYTYG thinks WYTYG is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to old to get Facebook. WYTYG thinks WYTYG is lucky she even knows how to operate one of 'em computing machines.

I, unfortunately, cannot join it, although I'd love to. Facebook only allows one to join 200. I'm at 359...Facebook made their new rule *after* I had joined my 349th group and made it without warning, so I'm a bit bitter about that.

Do you actually keep tabs on all of them? Could you not theoretically cut out 160 groups that you never use, and then join Spam Fam?
