I for one can't help but stay up, it just seems normal to stay up to at least 2AM and get up past 12 it makes me happy and lets me live (plus less minors are awake:p )

*is a night person*

Nighttime is the only time where I can sit on the computer and not worry that i'm wasting a gorgeous day. If only i actually had somethin gto do outside.....

Yep, I don't much like to go out and party all night or anything like that... but if I try to get to sleep before midnight, it's generally a futile effort. That and I feel at least twice as awake, alert and generally happy after the sun goes down. Go figure...

Well, it's a delicate instrument! You must learn to use the right tool for the right job.

I am sometimes a night person, sometimes a morning person, sometimes a day person, sometimes an evening person. My sleeping patterns rotate in irregular jumps. Right now I'm returning to a more or less nocturnal pattern (where I tend to linger if allowed to sleep/be awake freely). I guess I'll have to split my sleep into two periods once again; not enough time until morning.

I get off of work at 9pm and unwinding after work usually takes up some time on its own. It doesn't help having that "racing thoughts" disorder that keeps my brain going at all odd hours even when the rest of me is exhausted. Thank goodness for computer games and a growing movie collection.

School basically forces me to be a day person, but anytime I have any significant period of vacation, my day and night slowly reverse.

Being a student, time is not a concept with which I prefer dealing. That, and I am pretty much on my way to becoming a fully-fledged vampire.

Wow, I am a night-person 100%. I have had so many nights which end in "cheep, cheep* "uh, oh I can turn the lights-out now, it's day."

I work 3rd shift. My "workday" starts at 11pm, and goes until 7am, five days a week. I don't bother to try and shift my daily routine back to "normal" during the weekend, it would just throw me off.

I'd go insane without NSG to help pass by the boring hours here at work with little/nothing to do.

Thanks guys! :D

I used to be a fully-fledged night-person. Nowadays, routine and old-age has meant I can often cope with waking up as early as 11am at weekends.

Still, official bedtime during the week is 1.30am, and I rarely make it.

if i don't have to get up at 6 AM to get to school in time i'm a night person, although i like the day too. Most of the things i like, going out for instance, are best done at night. I also prefer to come outside at night instead of during the day. If the moon is giving a lot of light it can be really cool and
peaceful to cycle or walk outside during the night.
I also love to sleep, so when i wake up i often trie to fall asleep again, preferably until after noon.

but yeah, like i've said during the week i have to get up at 6 in the morning. :-/
luckily it are exams now, so i don't have to go to school. I have to study though, wich is equally uncool. But at least i can do it at night ;)

EDIT: this thread also reminded me of this quote:

"I like the night. The street. The smells. The sense.. Of another world."
"Sometimes you come face to face with yourself"

If left to my own devices, I would totally be a night person. I work the morning shift at work though, so I always have to be up by 8am. I try to go to sleep by midnight, but it always seems such a crime to be in bed before 2am. I usually end up waking late and showing up a few minutes late as well. If only I could work a night shift. Then I would have an excuse to tell people for staying up all night.
