(Anyone who guess where I got the title from gets a slice of cheese cake.)

So, I went to the doctors today, and apparently I'm going to have to have a small operation on a part of my body so I will be going in tomorrow for the procedure. It's a same day surgery so I'm not too concerned about it, just thought I'd be done with this after my last surgery back in Dec. of 2005. Guess my body had other plans lol. So, when was the last time y'all had surgery, how many surgeries have y'all had and what was the best and worst that y'all have?

I've had an odd sinus thing removed from next to my earlobe. General anaesthetic is the strangest thing ive felt, apart from head injury caused unconsciousness and concussion.

Yea General Aesthetic can be great, espically if you need to catch up on your sleep.

Are we counting dental surgery? If not, then I've never actually had any surgery done on me. If we are, then about four years ago was the last time.

i don't think i've ever had surgery, i suppose i'd remember something like that but there's no guarantee.

my flatmate though had 4 operations on her ears when she was about 4 years old cuz they thought she was going deaf. turned out there was nothing wrong with her ears and she just wasn't payng attention to anybody.

As for the answer, it was Clone High from Episode three "A.D.D, The Last D is for Disorder."

I had surgery on my thumb nine years ago. Broke it the day before my birthday too. I remember them thinking it was a bit odd how much anesthetic it took to take a 10 year old out.

Well 10 year old are hyper little creatures, if they were small enough, they could be electrons.

Three minor procedures, two on my left hand, one on my left middle toe, five days ago. The scar looks icky.

Also, a double odontectomy a year ago.

It's funny, they were going to give me a bunch of painkillers and pop it in place, but even after some pain killers, I was in searing pain when it was touched. They would have had to operate on it anyways, because I tore a bunch of ligaments.

Wow, if you don't mind me asking, what was the main cause for those 21 surgeries? Mine was that I was born with Goldenhar Syndrome.

The best part was the school's handling of the situation. The secretary told my mom that I "fell in the mud and got dirty. You might want to bring a change of clothes for him." When my mom said she would be there in about twenty minutes and so the secretary transfered the call to the principal who tried to chew my mom out.

I've been under the knife twice.

First time was for the right eye, to correct a strabismus.
And the second was when they had to exctract 4 fully horozontally impacted wisdom teeth. (Yes that counts - if they have to put you under a general, cut open your gums to get to the unerupted teeth, and break up all four teeth coming in sideways with a hammer and chisel, it counts!)

Anyhow, never gone under the knife. Stitches don't count, otherwise it'd be upwards of 7.

Well, I'm hopefully getting an MRI this summer to check both of my shoulders. Most likely either bone spurs in both or a space between the blade and the arm bone (kind of like Mark Prior). And I have to get my elbow looked at, too.

As far as the minor "under-the-knife" stuff goes, I've had an ingrown toenail removed twice, and I'm going to have to go back again for another.

I'm just wondering... How is it when they anesthetize you to sleep? I mean, methinks it's weird. It wouldn't hurt, I know, it just kind of gives me chills.

Reminds me of the Dead Kennedys... I'm not trying to be correct, just saying it sounds like something you'd hear from a Dead Kennedys song.

I mean they have an album called "Plastic Surgery Disasters" its a pretty good album too. Man, they're awesome.

All I ever had was a tonsilectomy. When I woke up in the hospital bed afterwards I refused to believe that I had actually had the surgery, because I couldn't remember anything but falling asleep the night before. Though I had a rather sore throat.

Ohh lots. I have kidney stones removed from my kidney and bladder at 18 months, and then a kidney removed when I was 10.

I used to be a butcher and have had to have my hands sown up a fair few times.
