UK gamers with XBOX live and BT total option 3, do you ever run over your 40GB usage limit?I want to know before i persuade my parent to get it, that i will be able to play online.

I'm on option 2 and never go over the limit on that. 40GB download limit is immense, you'd have to do some serious downloading to top that!

Maybe on the 360, but as a PC user, 40Gb isn’t a huge amount.

Ten DVDs, for example.

I used to a lot. Not much lately though. Best thing to do is look at your prior maximum usage and then look at options 2 or 3 and see what works out best.

I'm thinking of changing over to Sky's offer of TV, phone and broadband for £26. I'm not sure what the limit is on that. I know you still have to pay BT's basic line rental (£9.99) on top, but it works out that I spend what I do now anyhow and get SKY TV too.

EDIT: just checked into it and it's £26 with a 40GB download a month or £31 for unlimited usage

Yeah, I don't torrent. With the BT package it builds up so that what you don't use gets carried over to the next month.
