Ready for a Wiki-Venture? (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/218485/ready_for_a_wikiventure.html)

You've heard of spelunking--the fancy word for "caving," the adventure of exploring caves.

Maybe you've heard about urban exploration--essentially, caving in urban environments, exploring abandoned worlds (that show on the History channel where they go to Berlin's underground to explore old abandoned Nazi bunkers is really cool).

But...have you ever tried e-spelunking (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/218485/ready_for_a_wikiventure.html)?

This happens to me quite often. I'll look up something on Wiki & end spending a couple of hours following the links to who knows where.

Wow, the author of that article is a veritable Columbus with this discovery of the already discovered!

And he should update his version of IE, since it's had tabbed browsing for a while now... but maybe he's saving that for his next expose?

Too bad its rendering sucks and it comes with the hideous monstrosity that is KDE.

Been there done that, in fact it's rather common. I can end up reading a third to all of the pages on a TV, game series etc. if I'm not careful.

surfing/e-lunking is what the web is all about. that and forums and gallery/archives where i can share my visual creations.

it's all that e-buissiness crap that's a complete waste of everyone's time.

engineering fiddly bits are fun and interesting thought.

so somebody just re-discouvered this and gave it a new name. well new names are cool i guess. sure beats the hell out of televison.
