This was motivated by both Beeker's comment in a Sexiest NS voting thread and the fact that I have never before posted a photo of myself on NationStates (and have retired as moderator, removing any conflict of interest for voters). Beeker, I've come to challenge you in a contest of ego and preening:
This thread is irellavent...I am Beeker...I am the most attractive...charismatic...witty and intelligent man on NS...no polls, debates or ursupers can deny what is obviously fact :cool:
I'll wait for a couple days on adding a poll just in case anybody else our "age" on the forum wants to submit for the geezer division. I don't think either of us could survive "general" competition.

You should be crusty old NSers who remember when the General Forum tended to mostly have "Beeker" and "Parratoga" written all over it, had that... bluish ... text and background theme, [dredd] and [mantle], etc.

I would humbly suggest to our chief justices that we might close the submissions phase sometime in the near future, and they might also start figuring out how we're going to handle fitting candidates onto a poll with ten or fewer options, or if we'll do a voice vote initially, or what.

No point in trying to restrict the point-and-click vote, and it works out better when you're allowed to vote yes or no on each candidate in >2 candidate elections anyway (approval vs plurality), so as many as you like.
