Inventing the potential to destroy the entire planet, i.e. nukes. Even though I think nukes will not be used ever again after 1945, it was still pretty stupid to invent them.

Do you remember the commercial were the guy is talking about is cell phone? Trying to explain the thing to someone. That skit lasted about two minutes. That is about 1/11 of the show!:eek:

The stupidest thing? Hmmm. A sequel to Highlander. That was pretty damn stupid. Next closest thing would probably be war. That wasn't very bright either.

I would agree with forming political parties...Politicians are supposed to serve the people not their parties...after that I would have to say forming WMD's...and after that I would say giving Rosie O'donnell the chance to be a talk show host..along with O'reilly and all the other Media show hosts

I agree with that too...I'd also add that the belief that one Religion is superior to others is also quite dumb...although this mostly applies to Christians...which is a faith based on teachings that have been altered numerous times throughout history to benefit a few powerful church leaders and is the main religion that aggressively seeks to convert others towards its beliefs and tends to "damn" anything going against it...

I wouldn't mind bringing back Pan, Dionysos, and the rest of the Greek gods...they're probably the ones doing all the work while "God" gets all of the credit, worship and blame.

Most Christians are pretty tolerant of other beliefs, actually. It's just the Fred Phelps who get the media attention, not the Christians who go "Oh, I'm all for separation of church and state," or "I'm fine with a Muslim, unless he's a terrorist... In fact, I'm fine with any religious person, unless they're a terrorist."

Extremism makes people look, not moderation.

I would extend it to racial/religious superiority, all of which are created from arbitrary boundaries to separate people into clearcut groups for pointless reasons.
