Journalists demand probe of alleged 'violent treatment' at the hands of the LAPD
Angry Police used batons on cameramen and knocked reporters to the ground at immigration march.

By City News Service May 03, 2007

The Radio and Television News Association today demanded a thorough probe into ``the violent treatment of journalists'' by police during disturbances at a pro-immigration rally at MacArthur Park.

``The Radio and Television News Association calls for an immediate and complete investigation of the violent treatment of journalists by Los Angeles Police Department personnel at the conclusion of Tuesday's immigration march,'' said an RTNA statement.

``There is evidence that officers knocked reporters to the ground, used batons on photographers and damaged cameras, possibly motivated by anger over journalists photographing efforts by officers to control the movements of marchers,'' said an RTNA statement. Some things never change..

So basically, a bunch of reporters decided to write a story about how they were victimized while completely innocent. I'll wait till there are actual facts.

You're suggesting what, the reporters formed a mob and caused a ruckus at the place they should be working in?

Wait, I forgot, whoever is on the side of the state MUST be completely clean, unless they are on the side of your current "liberation" target state.

No, they could have been in a violent mob and thus had violence directed at them. The point is that I don't know what happened and neither do you so no judgment should be passed.

It did seem like a pretty tame encounter. If these had been Atlanta cops, they'd have set up the reporters for a drug bust, then shot them.

Are you saying that the LAPD used excessive force?

Yet another example of the liberal hippie communist homosexual media lying.

What's a groung?
ground that's had the LAPD kick the shit out of, until the 'd' at the end falls over, curls up and dies, forming what looks remarkably like the letter 'g'.
