Question about Military Issue

I'm new, and it's my third issue, whether to increase or decrease military spending. I'm kind of afraid either option will lead to an extreme result, lots of military or no military, and I don't want either.
If I dismiss the issue, what will happen?

If you dismiss it, you're likely to see riots, and your people will overthrow you.

EDIT: Sorry, I shouldn't tease. You're posting this in the wrong forum, really. Try 'Got Issues'.

Okay.

1) If you dismiss it, nothing changes. Or so I'm under the impression.

2) I think this belongs in Technical. I can see where you got confused though.

1) this should be in the general at the top

2) all issues take either extreme so if you can't choose just dismiss away like a government UFO watcher

Does anyone else believe i'm likely to see riots, or is the general consensus that I'm ok?

And sorry about the incorrect placement of the thread.

Nah, it'll be fine. Just dismiss, and nothing will change in your nation.

I always vote to increase military spending and just cut any funding for the environment out of my budget. My economy is "frightening", so I guess it's working out.

That must be the plan for the U.S.

No, actually aside from global warming the US does pretty well with it's environmental policies. We've got loads of wilderness, and we've improved significantly since the early twentieth century.
