Interesting--glad you have come to the light :). I had no intention of actually debating the minutiae--I wanted to point out that making such spurious claims are really a matter of perspective, and ultimately even if one precedes the other, the second is not necessarily a "copy" of the first.

I didn't come into the thread earlier because I'd already read the article--the NBA is saying there's some serious methodological flaws with the study--but Zombie Len Bias was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title.

All told, a 4.5% difference is very small, if we're talking 1.00 fouls per whatever vs 1.045 fouls per whatever.

A "study" with my own eyes has declared that there's a disproportionate amount of black players in comparison to fewer white players, why doesn't anyone bring that up? What a joke. pc alert
