Yeah, those pesky anarchists.

"While we understand that a group of anarchists, not associated with the rally, instigated an altercation with police, we are disappointed that authorities would respond to their actions by herding them into a peaceful crowd and by shooting rubber bullets with little warning," Durazo said in a statement.

Nothing like a few anarchists to incite violence and ruin the day for everyone.

Not that I'm a fan of the police firing rubber bullets - there are more intelligent options - like chasing down individual anarchists and pepper spraying them until they wish they hadn't been born.

Amazing - last year the huge marches, the concern.

this year - a piddling march, trouble from anarchists - and not a peep on NS General...

Well, you seem to be doing fine without any input from us, as usual. Here, have some more pepper spray.

I thought a good police clubbing was what happened at rallies

I also laugh at pinning the blame on some band of rouge anarchists raiding peaceful rallies around the world yet never getting much mention when theres no blaming to be done

Rubber bullets are like clubbing them, but from a distance.

I'm sure its just as fun to shoot them up close though, or break out the batons and do it old-school.
