Concerning: GoldenEye: Rogue Agent...

Alright, I know most of the folks who played GoldenEye original thought it rocked, and the opinion was totally the opposite with Rogue Agent, but listen its problems can be summed-up simply: people ignore bullets as compared with the original in which they acted more reaslistically. And of course certain people prefered the blood, but aside from that the game did indeed rock. First the theme of a villian was quite enjoyable. Seeing Fransisco Scaramanga, Goldfinger, Odjob, Pussy Galore, Blofeld, Xena Onatopp, and Doctor No all in one game was very enjoyable. The GoldenEye powers (all apperntly to do with magnetism) were fun to use. Visiting all the famous locations of the Bond films was fun, and the multiplayer system ROCKED. With courses like the Funhouse from The Man with the Golden Gun, The Golden Gate Bridge, The Moonraker, The GoldenEye movie climax scene, Fort Knox plus many, many more who could NOT love the multiplayer?
Anyway, the theme made-up the gameplay slightly. And it's a theme not to be wasted. It highly dissapoints me that no sequel is in the works. This post is about a proposed sequel.
My ideas: add recoil that acually moves the gunes out of place, make enemies notice when a .357 Magnum slams into them (that reminds me, they should also have .50 AE), make some blood, and add new GoldenEye powers. The storyline could revolve around "GoldenEye" (aka. Jonathan Hunter) fighting M16. It could include a lot of assassination mission and more opportunity to be a real bad guy. Maybe you could even take M hostage at some point. Maybe you could shoot civillians, or place bombs in urban areas and raise some REAL hell. Imagine breaking in a civillian house and taking the dude hostage (as opposed to a human shield). Maybe a scene where you beat information out of a guy. Maybe multiplayer has Casino Royale as an availible course. Maybe a car chase scene. And perhaps you have to fight Bond himself at the end, and as you win it leaves the fight on a cliff-hanger for yet another sequel.
What I'm trying to say is that the possibilities are endless. Come foward with suggestions might NS'ers!

EA aren't making a sequel to one of their games... there is no way that's true.

EDIT: Oh... they made the next game already... and now they're making the next one.

Well, not so much a sequel as the next in the long line of churned out 007 games. Oh and by the looks of things Treyarch are the devs.... they're the guys that did Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: Big Red One

I hate EA so much :(

I'm not into 007 games. The theme of THIS paticular one, playing the villian I found extremely interesting.

I see. Well, it is nice to see a game that tries to be from that point of view.

Yes, especially in the Bond sense (I wouldn't really like "Grand Theft Auto"). Except, being that the people I fought were bad-guys too, I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest extent.
