How much do you want to bet that some guy told him "Break a leg!" right before he went on?

Oh dear. :(

On a slightly lighter note, I remember a story from a few years ago where an artist fell, but had his fall broken - by the member of the audience he landed on, breaking various bones in both of their bodies. But at least he survived (to be sued by the woman). :p

I'm sorry LG but this is just not funny enough.

If he had died due to his pants falling down mid-air and thus being caught between pulling them up or catching the bar, clearly making the wrong decision and thus falling to his doom; that would be funny.

If he had fallen but miraculously survived only to be then eaten by a tiger; that would also be mildly amusing.

Just falling and dying, where's the laughter?

* A moment of silence for the dead performer and his surviving family.*

*an attempt to keep to LG's standards.*

Remember... it's not the fall that will kill you... but the sudden stop at the end.

Maybe this thread isn't supposed to be funny? Did you notice that this man worked at a circus? What else does one expect to find at a circus?
What else but CLOWNS, and wherever there are clowns can the foul might of the Clown Mafia be far away?

I posit that this man's death was no accident, but a MURDER, and that LG is only posting about it here as a warning to all future trapeze artists: When the man with the big shoes and red nose asks you for protection money, you'd better pony up quick or won't be just pies that are hurtling through the air that night.

i doubt it, he probably was dead before he could feel the pain. If you hurt yourself it always takes a while before you feel the pain.

Don Corleone: Do you spend time with your family? Good. Because a man that doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man.

Doesn't LG spend time with his 'family'? I've heard tales of the Goofball twins... and something called...static electricity
