I finally made it to the top of the Kangaroo Point cliffs. I am extremely proud of myself. since I've never played sport and I abhor exercise. So here's a pic (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b9/Kangaroo_Point_Cliffs.jpg)of the cliffs I made it up. It's been a bit of a personal goal of mine since i started climbing.

So NSG, what goals have you achieved recently? What moments are you most proud of?

Congratulations... I'm currently passing university... considering my extreme lack of work ethic I consider this to be an achievement.

Well done :) I guess my only achievements are exam results and getting a university place, and perhaps some performances of mine and my music. I'd like to get something performed by a professional group or perhaps a uni group. Though more generally, it'll be an achievement if I ever manage to ask this girl out...

My proudest moments would be getting married and graduating from Harvard and getting my law degree. And getting my first 9-5 job.

Mostly small things, and many of them were physical. Nothing major.

Hiking up Mt Kenya. Though when we got to the top where you can apparently see Kilimanjaro on a clear day, we couldn't see more than ten feet through the inside of a cloud.:)

passing the army PT because I had worked unbelievably hard to get out of my shell with complete strangers and pass after being deferred about a month before on teamwork

apparently from that point on I've completely changed

nice one :)

i guess my proudest moment was probably completing a 132m bungee jump and a skydive despite being shit-scared of heights although i've never really felt any pride in it. i'm usually pretty proud of myself when i get a first (>70%) in an essay for uni, particularly if it's an essay i've completed overnight which they usually are. my average is 60% which is only just a 2:1. it's generally pride in my blagging skills more than anything else, i seem to have a knack.

You can feel inadequate with me! Not drunk, though it has been done.

One time in BF2142, I ran over 3 guys in a row using the little car.

Within the last year, it was getting straight A's in my first semester of college while barely applying myself. I haven't gotten anywhere close to good grades in the last 6 years of school, so it was pretty cool for a couple of days. Also, I went to my first benefit ride and biked 35 miles with my aunt. It wasn't to hard, but it was a new experience.

Apart from dragging myself out of bed every morning/afternoon, I can't really think of anything i've accomplished this year.

I ran round a corner with the knife out, clicked madly, and knifed three guys looking directly at me.

My current goal is to sponge off my parents because I'm absolutely lazy. I'm succeeding quite easily, though I'm not proud of it...not at all.

I don't think I've done anything I'm proud of.

I've definitely done things that other people may be proud of, but I'm not. They're just things I did.

I was accepted as a theatre major to the University of Victoria! That doesn't seem like alot to some people (aka: academics), but I've heard it's a really selective program, and, moreover, it gives me some stability. I know that I'll be in school next year, which is a huge relief.
That, and I got a 100 dollar bursary from a local Speech Arts festival for placing 1st in Canadian Poetry 18 and Under and 1st in Provincial Prose 17 and Under.

I won a hot sauce drinking contest at my school and outlasted everyone else in how long it took before I needed water.

Needless to say, it was the most painful thing my digestive system has ever seen...

I'm sponging off my parents too. Nothing wrong with it in this day and age. Nothing at all.

I think I'm falling into a depression. That's the most proud moment I can think of for the last three years of my life.

I read about your being published, well done.

I'm too scared to adopt animals from shelters. But my family does feed a local stray cat.

Thanks.

I wish it were "The New Yorker" or some such, instead of a horror movie web-site, but hey, ya gotta start somewhere.

As for adopting from shelters, I think its great.
Many times, the animal comes pre-trained.

When I was signing the papers for the dogs license, I asked the officer at the desk, how many of the animals would likely find homes.

He said, "About 10%"

I wish more people would adopt pets from shelters.

No, I'm doing absolutely nothing with my life except sitting around all day playing video games and/or watching downloaded episodes of some television show or another.
