Fed up with the fast life

Tired of life on Wall Street, millionaire bond trader Rob Goldenhill bought a Vermont country store. Then he learned the truth about business - and himself.

The high life as a bond trader "fun and honest and meaningless and grim"? "A silly, ridiculous way to make a living"?

Well, I suppose I'm on my way of finding out myself. I quite like this story. Maybe this is me in 45 years, maybe it isn't.

Get filthy rich then buy a small business and pretend to be an ordinary person?

Oh course it's meaningless and grim. It's stock/bond trading. What product/service do you produce/provide?

Honnest? Don't make me laugh. I have a friend in investment banking, he claims it's pretty much non-stop bullshit.

Fun? Probably, I can imagine there's a thrill in having to meet tough targets and making obscene amounts of money.
