Some of you may remember me speaking of a certain quest involving watching the worst horror movies ever made.

Well, I submitted an article to this website, and it was made into a "featured article".

Im a "contributor" now...woot!

Apparently, this may turn into a regular thing.
Now if there were only a way to get paid for this!

That depends on what you consider funny.
If you find abyssmal films funny, then I personally recommend it.
The cast and crew certainly werent trying for funny, but well, the best laid plans of mice and men, I suppose.

Hey, at least theres nekidness!

yeah, bad films meant to be serious or scary .. but oh so not I usually chuckle at.. until I get fed up. The years these were made interested me also. I'd just like to see em for the heck of it.

Yah, thats how I started too.
I just liked movies like that, and watched em whenever I could.
Now, I scour the internet, and movie databases to find the worst ones I can.

Ironically, Netflix has a plethora of crap.
Many of the ones I watch, come to me in the mail, and get sent back. Wich is great becuase I dont have to actually buy a copy of these turds.

Some of these are fun to watch....some are painful.

Robot Monster for instance, wich is one of the absolute worst, was recommended to me by an NS'er.

Congratulations! That must be a good feeling.

In terms of contemporary movies, may I humbly suggest Dracula 3000 as one of the worst horror movies ever made. Honestly, the best thing about it is the DVD cover art - the acting is bad, the scriptwriting is absolutely appalling, and the plot appears to be the result of one of those "finish this sentence" games.

I'll check that one out.

Vampire films and stories are tricky, see...
What can you possibly do with a vampire story that other films or even role playing games havent already done?
Not freakin much.

Im guessing, they send him to the future, and we get "vampires in space" or some such silliness.
Sounds delightfully feca-licious.

Congratulations!

The only thing I ever had published was one of the worst poems I ever wrote in a church bulleting - I cringe to this day.

Thats right!

It was you!

If I ever meet you, Im not sure whether Im gonna hug you, or punch you in the nose.

I gotta tell ya, when you first described it to me, way back when, I knew it gonna be bad.
But GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY, was it bad!

That movie has become the benchmark of crap.
When I include a movie into the "worst ever" category, I ask myself "Was this worse than Robot Monster?"
If the answer is no, then its just not "good" enough.

Not many films are that bad.

Manos: The Hands of Fate

Monster A-Go-Go.

Jesse James Meets Frankenstien's Daughter.

Those are as bad as RM.

That film is goddamn excruciating to sit through.

Thank you, you dirty bastard!

Congratulations! :)

As for being paid: Just try and submit your future pieces to various publications. If they take it, they pay. Not well, probably, but it's a start. Don't know if you could still shop around this one, too. Probably not.
