Orange, Because, just because...

For drinking - orange juice (or when I'm ill, lemon juice)
For drinking with alcohol - orange juice or lime juice
For cooking - lime juice

Well, here it is. Another pointless poll to waste your time. What's your favorite citrus juice and why?

I like grapefruit juice.

Tarocco (blood-red oranges from Sicily).

Ask your doctor for some Kwell shampoo. That stuff usually works.


Why am I the only person who likes grapefruit juice? It's great. You can mix it with cheap gin or cheap vodka and if you want you can add 7up to sweeten it and make a nice not too sweet drink with plenty of vitamin C to start the day off right.

i'm not a fan of grapefruit juice myself, too bitter. but a friend of mine who went to oxford and was a 'mentor' for first year students told me of a prank to play on bolshy kids when out for a drink. grapefruit juice, more than any other mixer can mask the taste of vodka, so recomend they drink vodka and grapefruit and make sure you get all the rounds in. they'll be wasted and embarrassing themselves within the hour :D

Yeah, that's what I mix cheap vodka with. When I'm drinking good vodka I don't mix it with anything at all.

Yeah, that's what I mix cheap vodka with. When I'm drinking good vodka I don't mix it with anything at all.

wouldn't have it any other way. good vodka comes straight out of the freezer and down my throat. *nod*

heh! yeh absolutely! tequila, lime and tonic is yummerz! funnily enough i'm not a huge fan of tequila slammers, although as you say they are efficient so, when needs must i will :)

Oh, and as for the thread question: Orange juice; it's really versatile, great in the summer with lemonade, or as a mixer, or by itself...

eurgh! that sounds nasty!

although, the whisky and tequila thing, at the club i used to work at we had a house cocktail which had that. it was basically a long island iced tea with whisky. never tried it though.
