Since we had such an (interesting but still) stomach sickening 'most annoying song' thread, I thought: I want to know what people like!

What's your favorite, song, band or album? Or all of them?

My list would be very very long. I'll think about it some more.

Exactly my feelings on the sublect. But then, just name what you prefer at this very moment. If you could hear one band, song or album, which would it be?

For me, at this very time, it would be Joni Mitchell. But it's kind of an exceptional moment. I'm listening to My morning jacket now (Z, Dondante).

In that case I'm gonna have to go with either Skindred, or Wolfmother. No I mean either Burning Spear or AC/DC.

Gaahhhhh I mean Pink Floyd or damn I can't decide, Deicide, they're good too, and Masterdon.

I know, and I does change from time to time.

But Hallowed Be Thy Name is just the one that does it for me. (Fear Of The Dark will always rank on the top, both as an album and as a song - I like the other one just a tiny bit better. ;))

These things change on a daily basis for me.

Currently it is Back In The Depot by Alex Harvey/The New Band off his '79 The Mafia Stole My Guitar album.

Ask me again on Wednesday, or even later today and the answer could be completely different. Been giving The Teaches Of Peaches a fair amount of play recently and it could well be something off that...

I saw them once on a very tiny festival. they weren't even on a stage. The bass player almost accidentally hit me in the head with his bass neck. I was so proud!

Was that Rhaaa Lovely Festival, by any chance?

It must have been a tiny stage if the bassist nearly hit you. He's not exactly renowned for a wild playing style...:p

I kind of like the new Amy Winehouse as well - not the album (kind of monotone) but the song You know I'm no good. A bit... :$

It was 'De nachten' (say, the Nights) here in Antwerp. And no, he wasn't being wild at all, but they were cramped so close that he constantly had to jump aside for the singer. It was really funny though :p

The best group ever is Queen. They had great songs and Freddy Mercury had a voice that few people have ever had. Rock when it's at its best.

Granted Queen were great, better though than Thin Lizzy? Or AC/DC, or The Who, or Led Zep? Naaaaa.

I haven't listened much to Led Zep, The Who or Thin Lizzy but but AC/DC: s music is different from Queen's. They are more hard rock and even though I like them I think they can hardly be compared to Queen. Queen was something fantastic. Everytime I listen to them I get a rush.

Ohh and Rush, they're good too. You haven't listened to Thin Lizzy? Man you gota do that and do it now. I wouldn't call them hard rock, no more so than queen, in fact Queen's Tie your mother down, is a lot hard then most of Thin Lizzy.

Damn me but I have just rememberd Lynard Skinard too, they're bloody great.

You're right, they're all great. Todays music doesn't even compare to music as it was before. Today it's almoust exclusively mass produced crap that finds its way to the radio or TV. Occasionally something good pops up but that's the exception that confirms the rule.

What's your favorite, song, band or album? Or all of them?

An easy question! :)

My favorite album will be Hurricane Live 2032-2033, a collection of songs from Bubblegum Crisis 2032-2033 Anime series.

My favorite song from it will be “Say, Yes!”, it is a very sweet and touching song, and they way Hashimoto Maiko-dono performs it is simply incredible: she puts so much emotion into it!

Other of my favorite songs from this album include:
Victory
Kon’ya wa HARIKE-N! (Tonight… Hurricane!)
Asu e TATCHIDAUN (Touchdown to Tomorrow)
Kizudarake no Wild (Wild and Scarred)
Bara no Soldier (Soldier of Rose)
and last but not least…
MISUTERIASU NAITO (Mysterious Night)

Beside that, I like the Beatles’ songs very much (and they have way too many good songs for me to even begin listing them).

There are other music albums I sometimes listen to, of course (not many, but there are), but Hurricane Live and the Beatles are my favorites.
